About Rock Tuna
Rockstar:
The earth and citrus flavors of RockStar may be used to deliver potent pain and muscle spasm relief. Its euphoric effects may be used to help deal with anxiety, depression and stress. Some do find that it helps them rest easy. Others use it for migraines and nausea.
When Bonguru Beans set out to create this strain, they had an indoor setup in mind but RockStar can do just as well outside. Plants do well in soil or hydroponics and can be ready in eight to nine weeks. This strain can do well in a Sea of Green or can be grown as a multi-branching plant. Outdoors this strain can reach as tall as two meters and may yield as much as a pound per plant. A good choice for beginners, RockStar tends to produce about a half pound indoors.
Black Tuna:
British Columbia – the land of sweeping views, crisp minty air, and some of the better organic strains in Canada. Thanks to 5 Star Organic there is another delicious and extremely potent strain to add to that legacy. Black Tuna is an evenly balanced strain comprised of Lamb’s Bread and Herojuana. This popular Northern strain may be hard to find outside of the region, but if you happen to get your hands on some, don’t be surprised by their whimsical packaging, as this bud sometimes comes in a sealed tuna can!
Though the THC of this strain isn’t particularly high, you’ll find that doesn’t affect much about its appeal. The smell, however, might. Though the flavors are rich in spice and tartness, the aromas lean toward funky and almost putrid. The spiciness of the smoke tends to balance that out, though. Rest assured, these sage and purple colored buds are well worth the try.
The strength of this bud is largely described as narcotic, and because of this, it is not recommended for beginners and even some intermediate smokers. The high begins relatively easy going, then quickly dives into a hard and loopy state. It will be nearly impossible to keep your eyes open, or even steady for that matter, after just a few minutes. This cerebral rush ebbs and flows through the high that can sometimes last for hours.
Expert Review
I may just be one who doesnt enjoy the Tuna strain crossed with anything which is a bummer because the buds look amazing. To me this flower has a bland earthy smell and the flavour is the same. Earthy tones with the smallest taste of gas and pine. The ash burns with a salt and pepper colour.
