Purple Dragon strain is a mixture of Blue Dragon and Purple Urkle, a powerful indica favorite. The exact balance of indica and sativa is unclear. But it’s known to be indica-dominant, producing calming but euphoric high with happiness, drowsiness, and powerful hunger. The effects start in the head and then move to the body.

THC levels are very high, at least 21% in publicly available lab results. Surprisingly, then, CBD levels are also relatively high, between 1% and 2%.

That means Purple Dragon cannabis may be useful in the treatment of seizure disorders and other conditions that respond to CBD. It’s also recommended for treating:

Both the flavour and smell of this strain contain notes of flowers, sage, and spice, while the buds have a combination of purple, green, and orange hues. Though it isn’t on many top 10 lists, this strain sells fairly well in Arizona, California, Washington State, and British Columbia.

Wow aesthetically this bag is gorgeous. Immediately when receiving this I got extremely excited to see these very large and plump buds that resemble a dragons egg oddly enough. Honestly this batch is beautiful, healthy and very fresh producing oval shaped buds with every colour of the rainbow. Light and dark greens and purples mixed with red and neon orange hairs make this flower look overall impressive and can’t forget that all the buds are frosted in large furry stalked trichomes making it very sticky. Pungently sweet aroma with hints of berries and gassy diesel all mixed up into one intoxicating smell which i wouldn’t mind shoving up my nose all day. The high produced is strong and being an indica dominant hybrid the terpenes mostly effect the brain waves and deliver a smooth cerebral calm while slowly working its way down through the nervous system and relaxing the bodies muscles giving that “melting effect”. Great smoke with a good cure burning off a light grey to silver coloured ash and developing a bit of a spicy exhale towards the end of a session.
